"We felt it was absolutely perfect..."
"Thank you so much for officiating such a beautiful ceremony! We felt it was absolutely perfect, and that you captured exactly who we are. Everyone came up to us all night long telling us how much they loved the ceremony, and the emotion brought out by it. We would love to keep in touch. We can’t thank you enough!"

"...a personalized, thoughtful, historical Jewish ceremony and celebration in juxtaposition to our love for each other... "
"Rabbi Debra Nesselson is the modern rabbi you may have dreamed of; the one who with a lot of wisdom and knowledge takes your hand and walks with you step by step on any Jewish path that one may take.
Based on our own wedding experience, we knew we wanted a wedding ceremony that incorporated our connection and belief in strong family values and also honored our commitment to traditional Jewish customs. Rabbi Nesselson provided a personalized, thoughtful, historical Jewish ceremony and celebration in juxtaposition to our love for each other. We met with Rabbi Nesselson a few times prior to the ceremony to get better acquainted, and to better understand what "marriage" really means, while creating what we agreed was the right ceremony in meeting our needs. Our wedding ceremony was an authentic expression of all the things we wanted in our wedding, including love, family and traditional Jewish customs. Our ceremony was a true example of how important and special it is to have an excellent personal connection between the rabbi, Rabbi Nesselson, and ourselves. Our experience is one that we will cherish forever."

"When I was a teenager, well before I knew my husband, I asked Rabbi Nesselson if she would one day officiate my wedding. Fourteen years later... "
It was difficult trying to capture in a short blurb how much you have impacted my life. I hope this testimonial helps others see a glimpse of how wonderful you are.
I never was a member of Rabbi Nesselson’s congregation or witnessed her officiate a Jewish service, but I had always admired her. When I was a teenager, well before I knew my husband, I asked Rabbi Nesselson if she would one day officiate my wedding. Fourteen years later, Rabbi Nesselson honored my request and was there for me. Not only did Rabbi Nesselson exceed our expectations, she helped us connect deeply as a couple and to our Jewish tradition.
One of the more meaningful activities I shared with my husband, Jeff, was when Rabbi Nesselson asked us to think about two questions before our wedding day: "Who is this person?" and "Who is this person to me?" Rabbi Nesselson helped us focus our emotion with deeper insight. Likewise, as well as I knew Jeff and my tradition, Rabbi Nesselson weaved the Ketubah experience into something so meaningful that it genuinely brought tears to my eyes. At the end of the ceremony, many of our guests commented on how special and moving Rabbi Nesselson’s words were to them."

"...integrating the religious, spiritual, cultural, factual, compassionate,
and a heartfelt perspective is truly remarkable."
"Rabbi Debra Nesselson's ability to comprehend and embrace "life events" from a very broad vantage point, integrating the religious, spiritual, cultural, factual, compassionate, and a heartfelt perspective is truly remarkable. When we include her "delivery," which is articulated clearly, concisely, and with the utmost amount of respect, kindness, compassion, and genuine feelings of concern, we were speechless. These sentiments have been shared with us during both a memorial service and our wedding by our family members and friends.
If you are looking for a Rabbi to share life experiences on a heartfelt level, which is both intellectual and wise, we highly recommend Rabbi Debbie's services!"

"You really understood our view of the wedding. You were so flexible and accommodating in meeting the unusual aspects of the situation..."
"Thank you so very much for making our wedding such a comfortable and happy experience. You really understood our view of the wedding. You were so flexible and accommodating in meeting the unusual aspects of the situation while maintaining the core values and elements of the ceremony. We had such a good time talking with you and being married by you — and, yes, we are still happily married. Good job! Thank you again for giving our marriage such a good start and for doing it so beautifully."

"So many of our friends-- male and female, Jewish and Christian--
commented about your ceremony... "
"Thank you so very much for the beautiful ceremony you officiated for Becca and Mike. Words cannot express how truly grateful we are for the loving tone you helped set for the day. Your warmth, care, humor and intuitive insight provided the perfect beginning to a perfect day. So many of our friends-- male and female, Jewish and Christian—commented about your ceremony and your messages, especially about the ring and your remarks about free will. How perfect the message and how meaningful the gesture. It touched us all.
I hope some day our daughter has the chance to stand before you for her wedding vows. Again, our heartfelt thanks for the care you took to make the day so very, very meaningful."

"...everything we hoped for and more!"
"Rabbi Nesselson, thank you so much for making our wedding ceremony so loving and beautiful. We loved that you spent time with us before our ceremony and got to know who we were as a couple. You did such a beautiful job of capturing our relationship and the values and traditions that mattered to us. We had so many people who had never been to a Jewish wedding say it was the most beautiful ceremony they had ever been to, and we'd have to agree! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our wedding day everything we hoped for and more! "

"...a keen awareness of today's challanges..."
"Rabbi Debbie Nesselson is not your Grandfather or Father's Rabbi. She is very approachable, concerned, and has a keen awareness of today's challenges based upon her experience in dealing with current-day family dynamics. A Rabbi with genuine warmth, who's interest, will make you feel comfortable whenever a Rabbi's services are needed."

"Your wisdom, insight, spirituality, friendship and love give us a kind of strength and courage that we would not have had without you..."
"As always, like for other life cycle events you have officiated for my family, what a beautiful wedding ceremony! My family and I cannot thank you enough for being there with us to officiate Hillary and Todd’s marriage. What a great start for the two of them! The ketubah signing and the wedding ceremony were both so beautiful. So many friends and family commented about how special it was. The kids told me how much they enjoyed talking to you during the weeks and months before, and I thank you for that as well. We appreciated every heartfelt word and could not have asked for anything more. You have been there for us in such a special way, since we lost Harry over six years ago, and I hope you know how much it has meant to us to know that you are there. Your wisdom, insight, spirituality, friendship and love give us a kind of strength and courage that we would not have had without you, I thank you from the bottom of my heart."

"...when choosing our wedding date the most important factor was you being able to officiate..."
"Since meeting you years ago you have gone out of your way to make sure we both knew that you were there for us whenever we needed you. That is why when choosing our wedding date the most important factor was you being able to officiate our special day. Our wedding brings the biggest smiles to our faces every moment we think about it, and so much of that has to do with you. We cannot express how fortunate we feel to have shared this day with you and for you to be there to officiate the happiest moment in our lives. We truly appreciate the time that you spent learning what makes us the people who we are and what our love for each other means. On March 26th the room was filled with so much love and that is all thanks to your meaningful words and your incredible warmth. Our wedding would not have been the same if we did not have the honor of sharing that moment with you. Thank you, Rabbi Debbie for everything."
