5782  HIGH HOLY DAY SERVICES  2021

We are happy to announce that after careful consideration, we will be able to move forward with alternative plans to conduct High Holiday services for both Rosh Hashanah, Tuesday, September 7, and Yom Kippur, Thursday, September 16 beginning at 11:00 a.m.

In conjunction with the expressed need from the community for a safer environment, our services will take place outdoors at Sunset Woods Park in Highland Park, WEATHER PERMITTING.  Our prayer site is located at the most northern point of the park behind the covered pavilion. Some walking will be necessary; there are no stairs but the grade of the land is in some places mildly sloped. Services will be conducted completely outdoors and there is plenty of space for everyone to spread out.

As we are weather dependent, please access RabbiNesselson.com on the mornings of each date to be assured that services will be taking place. You'll also receive an email each morning at 9 am to confirm one way or the other.

There is ample parking along the full length of the park, running just north of Deerfield Road almost reaching Park Avenue and on some of the neighboring side streets.

Our site is beautiful. We will pray together surrounded by nature under the trees. Please bring your blankets and chairs.

Please also bring your High Holiday prayer books. Extra copies will not be provided.

Consistent with the informal setting, please feel free to dress informally and wear comfortable shoes. God will recognize our prayers regardless of what we are wearing.

The map below will provide further guidance.

Since there is a capacity limit please RSVP by making a reservation and listing all those planning to attend.

As we strive to maintain the essence of our High Holiday services, we welcome and fully appreciate your contributions which will help to cover staff and out-of-pocket expenses.

We look forward to worshipping with you in a safe manner. We really are looking forward to praying together once again.
